Looking for a qualified personal trainer can prove to be a headache. With so many personal trainers offering their services choosing the right one can often seem like an uphill struggle, and you haven’t even started training yet! Urban Personal Training understands that comparing personal trainers can be tough, that's why we have compiled a list of our frequently asked questions to assist you in selecting the right personal trainer for the job. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to contact us as we'll be only too happy to assist you.
We pride ourselves in being amongst the highest qualified trainers in the business. All our personal trainers are professionally qualified and members of Fitness Australia, the regulatory fitness industry body in New South Wales are fully insured and hold current senior first aid certifications. Urban Personal Training strives to keep at the cutting edge of health and fitness research with continuous practical and theoretical education.
As well as offering regular personal training sessions Urban Personal Training also offers a set program packages. This includes the free consultation, program design and two sessions to teach you your new program. With this package you are not left completely on your own as your trainer is available to by phone to answer any questions that may arise as you train. We recommend that you have a program review every 6-8 weeks as this will help keep you motivated and ensure you continually improve your personal fitness level.
There is no set answer to this question as everyone has different needs and aims and as such will need differing number of sessions. The trainer and client will work together to decide the number of sessions to suit your end goals and lifestyle.
At Urban Personal Training we try to make every session as fun and enjoyable as possible, but we do understand that for some exercise is a chore rather than a pleasure. Therefore, we offer a phone counselling service where your personal trainer will call you up during the week to see how you are getting on with your home program, and if you have any difficulties they will try and work through them with you. This service also works the other way round, so if you are having a hard time motivating yourself you can just call up your personal trainer for help.
Urban Personal Training is based in Wyoming on the Central Coast. We do, however, have clients from all across the area from Terrigal to Ourimbah.
We are trained to help people recover from numerous injuries, including prolapsed disks, spinal stenosis, ACL surgery, and tendonitis. We would however follow the advice and work with your physiotherapist in order to prescribe the correct rehabilitation suited to your particular injury or condition.
Yes of course we can help, at Urban Personal Training we can design fitness programmes to suit any sport. Whether you are training for your first marathon, are a recreational tennis player who wants to get fitter to improve their game, or are wanting to get fitter for your yearly skiing trip we can design a program to help you.
